Minimum/General Experience: This position requires four years experience, of which at least two years must be specialized experience including demonstrated experience using current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various DBMS and experience with DBMS internals. Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction. Functional Responsibility: Participates in the design of data base projects, defines file organization, indexing methods and security procedures for specific user applications. Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Two years of experience may be substituted for each year of college leading to the required degree.
